Tucker Carlson’s recent monologue on the “Market and the Family,” in which he argued that the contemporary economy has undercut the strength and stability of working-class families, has sparked a major debate among conservatives. Some conservatives—including David French and Ben Shapiro—have taken issue with his argument. IFS senior fellow W.
